How this website works

It's hosted on my old Asus K52F laptop. It runs Arch Linux, nginx to serve HTML, CSS and JS. I used myaddr.io and duckdns.org for dynamic DNS, but now the preferred way to connect is my very own domain. The traffic passes through whole 2 routers at my home; I have to keep this unholy setup because of the legacy TV hardware my family uses.

Earlier the lapserver's uptime was scheduled, but recently I bought a real domain and started using local alternative to Cloudflare Tunnel, so I decided to make the server work 24/7 with daily reboot at 3AM UTC.

The projects I am proud of

ULTRACOPYCAT

This is a Garry's Mod addon that was inspired by ULTRAKILL. It spawns metrocops in the map, makes them really hate you and then gives you style bonuses depending on how you kill them.

My school project on PRNGs (russian only)

My modest project on PRNGs I wrote in 10th grade. The names and the school are redacted for privacy purposes. It's only available in russian language. The provided archives include the generated .pdf, the LaTeX and C sources, and the makefile.

I've spent quite some time on this website learning how to utilise nginx, how to write HTML and CSS, and doing some networking tomfoolery such as double port forwarding and gambling for a free white IP my ISP sometimes leases me.
